Home, Sweet, Home.........

Saying good bye. This was hard to do. We loved this end of town and feel as if we left a piece of our hearts there in our sweet little home and in our very favorite part of town.
So ready to begin the new family adventure of moving to a new town into a BRAND NEW HOME!!! We enjoyed all the little experiences you have while doing so. They poured the foundation so fast, I didn't have a chance to take a picture of our empty lot. Ready or not.
Walls going up!
"Raise the ROOF". It was nice to visit and not have to worry about getting drenched in the spring-time down pours.
Getting ready for siding & Shingles.

Getting ready for stucco.
Finishing touches inside and out.
Finishing up the landscaping.

YEAH! Three months later we have a beautiful new home. It was fun and nerve-racking customizing everything. But, I must say I LOVED pouring my heart into this home. I also love the fact that I picked everything from tree & rocks to the texture on the walls & type of light bulbs I wanted. It was a tad bit overwhelming at times but, I must say it was a good stress in the end. If I could choose something to stress about, I'm glad it was something that ended up with a beautiful home in the end. We are SO happy to have moved where we did and have truly enjoyed each and everyone of our new neighbors and new friends we have made so far. The kids LOVE their school, riding the bus, their new kittens, and most of all the impressively kind kids here. Not to mention the awesome ward we have moved into, we feel SO blessed. All of this has made our switch and change so smooth. Royce and I feel at home with the kind people that surround us and are enthusiastic about all of the changes we have made in the last year. We continue to look forward to our bright future.

Merry Christmas All!

We have a fun little tradition of giving the kids a new ornament to open the night we get our tree. This ornament represents something about them from the past year. They are also the lucky first ornaments that get to go on the tree. So without further a-due here are the ornaments for 2010's:
Baily- Schroeder and Lucy from Charlie Brown's Christmas. For one Baily loves snoopy and for two she started Piano this year. You can also push a button and he plays "Waltz Of The Flower". I liked it so much I almost bought it for my snoopy loving self.

Taylor received a perfect ornament, a Mommy Beaver giving her toothless child beaver a tooth. The best part of this ornament is if you push the button it sings the classic song "All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth". If you notice Taylor is just as toothless as the little Beaver in the Ornament and she sure gets a kick off of that song.
Luke is easy peasy he loves anything even remotely boyish. So I went with Buzz Lightyear since he is a BIG fan and of course as you all noticed him sporting a rather fancy Buzz costume this year for Halloween. To Infinity and Beyond!
Well here we all are at the end of another amazing and eventful year. We are so happy to have survived 2010 as we continue on to 2011 with a smile and with anticipation of what new exciting endeavors we are to encounter. Here is a quick update on each of our success of 2010:

Royce- Robie Creek, Mt. Borah survivor, and Graduating from BSU.
Kate- Robie Creek, Robie Creek, and Robie Creek. Oh, and I turned 30!
Baily- Soccer rock star, Piano, and lots and lots of friends.
Taylor- Art class, Piano, and an amazingly witty sense of humor.
Luke- Potty Trained, starting to write letters in the alphabet, and is truly an awesome kid.
Royce and I also Celebrated our 10 year Anniversary! Wahoo!

Merry Christmas All, we wish you all the very best this holiday season!

Happy Hallowing!

Toy Story 3 Theme going on with my kiddos. I thought I would take my most likely last chance to do theme costumes this year. Surprisingly it was their idea to match. They tried to convince Royce and I to be Mr. & Mrs. Potato head ( I think it would have been so fun), but Royce wasn't interested in joining in the Toy Story band wagon ( I can't really blame him). So I decided to come up with my own costume (complements to Savers) with Disney in mind. I found this random home made dress- I took off the bows and stitched on little white polka dots, buttons, and collar. The kids and Royce loved it and I was pretty please with the result myself.
So here is Barbie, Minnie, Jessie, and of course Buzz. We had a lot of fun and I REALLY loved all of our costumes this year. There is just only so many years left of buying adorable costumes and trick or treating. I will enjoy every moment and make it last as long as I can. I sure love these kids SO stinkin' much!

I hope you had a

Happy Birthday Taylor!

Taylor Turned 7 this month and had a great Birthday complete with a Barbie cake, presents, ice cream and family.
Taylor requested Barbie stuff, Pegasus webkin, Rapunzel and her horse, build a bear clothes, and of course her favorite Taylor swift Barbie.

My 2nd attempt at a Barbie cake. I tried to make it without having to cut her legs off. After making up two cake batters, baking in a bowl, and 9'' round cake pans this is as high as I could get the dress. Different then what I mentally pictured but it all worked out and Taylor was satisfied.
Happy Birthday Taylor! We love you and have enjoyed every moment of having you apart of our family!

Stuck Like Glue

Well since I dedicated a post to the girls and Royce I thought it only fair to add a quick post for my buddy. This is the sweet face I get to spend my day with. I must say I have immensely enjoyed my time with this little buddy. Luke and I have become quite the pair from our time we get together without anyone but ourselves. Even though we get excited to go get the Sisters from school we try to hide how much fun we really do have while they are away. I must say this is a special thing to have since I have never really had alone time with the little guy until now. I truly, truly enjoy it. Party on Luke.
